Mr.Panda
Jak woken up to loud noises coming from the other room. Things breaking and hearing his mom and sisters yelling; thinking they were just arguing. He got off his bed and opened the door to find his mom on the kitchen ground attacked and bloody. She looked at Jak and held her hand out. ” Jak….. Jak!! ” she yelled out over and over again as she gagged on her blood. Jak stood there in shock for a bit. He then went into his room and grabbed his sword then came back out into the kitchen and kicked one man off of her, then stabbed the other guy on the back. The man Jak kicked off stood up and rushed towards him. Jak then pulled the sword out of the man’s back and lunged it into the other man’s throat.
Jak sat down by his mother’s side, crying his eyes out. He held her hand close to him and watched as his mother took her last few breaths. He can see both of his sisters laying on the ground in the living room covered in blood. Jak then took out his phone and called all his friends. No one picked up. He then called Mannie Edmunds, who is a friend of his. ” Jak…. it’s happening.. ” said Mannie. Jak wiped off his tears and took a deep breath ” I know… my mom and sister is dead… did you call Justin? “
” No I haven’t… I hope He’s ok ” said Mannie. ” Yea.. me too.. you call Justin and I will call Chase. ” Funny story; Jak, Mannie, Justin, and Chase once told each other ” If a Zombie Apocalypse ever happened, they’d stick together as a team just like in their video games. Jak grabbed all his swords and grabbed his moms car keys. He put all his swords in the trunk and went back inside to grab a few things before he left. He went over his mother one last time and sat down next to her again. He then leaned over to kiss on the forehead. As soon as he did that, she moved. Jak backed up abit and watched her slowly sit up. ” M..Mom? ” He said as she started to twitch alittle. In the back he saw his sisters slowly stand up and stumbling. Jak slowly stood up and scoot over to the counter draw. He opened it slowly trying to keep his movements small. He reached in and grabbed a kitchen knife. His mom and sisters then rushed at him at all once. He quickly grabbed the frying pan smacked his mom in the face then lunged the kitchen knife in one of his sister’s forehead. The other sister was still up and still trying to attack Jak. Jak was holding her back with his hands as long as he can. He then head butts her, to get her off of him. ” Fuck that hurts! ” Jak said as he rubbed his forehead. His sister stumbled back abit and then ran back towards Jak. Jak quickly grabbed two kitchen knives and lunged one in her chest and the other in her eye. She then dropped down, twitching abit.
He looked at all three of them laying on the ground. He quickly grabbed his phone and the car keys and booked out of the door. He turned the car on and set up the GPS to heads towards Topeka, Kansas. He looked behind him and saw more zombies stumbling around. He took a deep breathe and drove out of the drive way and drove off to his destination. He dialed Chase’s number and told him to head towards Kansas to meet up there. Jak turned on the radio and heard the distress message. The safe point is towards Mexico. Kansas City all the way to Mexico is going to be one long trip.
As the ship docked at its destination, the survivors noticed zombies wandering around. It seems as if the world really did come to a zombie apocalypse. Everyone grabbed their guns and supplies, fighting through the waves of zombies. Chase, Mannie, and Justin stuck close to each other as they faught the zombies. The survivors were falling one by one fast; Out numbered.
The three ran and ran trying to find safety. They picked a house and ran towards it. In the distance they can hear someone yelling out their names. Justin turned around and saw Jak running towards them. ” guys look its Jak! “. Said Justin. “Let’s go help him.” Said Chase. All three then started to shoot off any near by zombies. Jak then caught up to the three; feeling happy as ever. They rushed into the house for safety before celebrating their reunion yet again. They barricaded up the doors and windows and camped upstairs in one of the rooms.
Jak looked at the three and had a big smile on him. As he goes in for a hug, Mannie pushed him back away from them, pulled out her pistol and pointed it at Jak. Justin looked at Mannie and tugged at her shoulder. ” What the fuck do you think you’re doing!! ” Jak smiled abit and looked down abit. ” It’s alright Justin…. ” Justin looked at Jak, with a confused look. ” What’s…..going on? ” Mannie still holding her towards Jak’s head ” He’s infected…. ” You can tell she was trying to hold her tears back.
Chase stepped forwarded ” is that true Jak? ” Jak nods abit and takes a deep breath. He lifts up his pant leg revealing a bandage leaking out blood. Justin walks over to Jak and slaps him across the face ” and all this time you were trying to find us? what if you suddenly changed when we are sleeping!! we would be dead too!! ” Jak slowly turns his head back from being slapped. He rubbed his cheek abit and nods ” I know… I should had told you guys before… but… I…. I just wanted to see you guys one last time before I become one of them…. “
A horde then appears behind them. They can smell the fumes coming off of Jak; that’s what brought them here. ” Shit everyone get inside!! ” said Chase. Jak started to stumble abit. His body tensing up from the infection taking over his body. Mannie and Justin rushed over to aid Jak into the safe house. ” Leave me… just… go… ” said Jak. ” No I’m not leaving you this time Jak… ” Mannie said as she dragged him. The horde started to get closer and closer by the second.
They finally reached to the steps, and Jak pushed Justin and Mannie off of him ” I got it from here… ” They nodded and turned around shooting off as many zombies as they can before they reached inside. A smoker popped out of the crowd and shot it’s tongue out, wrapping it around Jak’s ankle dragging him back. Jak quickly turned around and started to shoot his pistol at the smoker. It took about a full click to kill the smoker. As Jak stood up and limped over to the safe room, a few zombies got a hold of him and took a few bites out of him.
Jak let out a big scream. The gang shot off the zombies and quickly grabbed Jak into the safe house. They laid him down against the wall and barricaded the front door. Jak slouched over, breathing heavily. Mannie came over and sat down next to him. ” Jak…. I’m so sorry…. ” Jak slowly shook his head and smiled ” It’s not your fault Mannie… you did the right thing… ” Mannie tightly hugged Jak, shedding a few tears. ” Please dont die Jak…. ” Jak softly moved Mannie off of him ” C’mon Mannie… I’m the Fucking Panda…. No one can stop me… ” He laughed abit and coughed out blood. They all were silent as they sat and stood there watching Jak slowly die.
” Im sorry I brought all this trouble to you guys…. but I just want to tell you all know… ” He then looks at Mannie.. ” That I love you…. all of you… ” Justin smiled and stepped towards Jak ” I’m happy I got to know you Jak… you’re an amazing person. ” He kneeled down and gave Jak a big hug. Chase stepped forward as well. ” You’re always gonna be the best Panda I know Jak…” Jak smiled and looked at them all then turned towards Mannie. ” Watch over these boys…. and kick some ass! ” He slowly leaned forward and kissed Mannie on the cheek leaving his bloody lip print. He pulled back and took his last breathe.
Mannie jumped into Justin’s arms and cried her eyes out. Justin slowly pulled them away from Jak’s body. To see a a good friend die is one of the hardest thing anyone can face. Chase wiped off his tears and looked at Justin and Mannie ” Lets set up base… ” Suddenly they heard some cracking noises. They all turned towards Jak and saw that his forearms were bubbling abit. His body started twitching. They all lifted up their guns and pointed at Jak. Jak’s body started to move, and making him stand up. ” Jak…. you… ok? ” Said Mannie. Jak’s forearms grew out enormously, and touching the ground. He turned around and looked at the three. His breathing very heavily and almost demonic like.
” That’s Not Jak anymore…. ” Said Chase. He cocked his gun and prepared to fire. ” Get into that room behind us… ” They slowly backed up into the room, not trying to make any noise. Justin opened the door and the creek of the door alerted Jak. Jak let out a big scream at them and started rushing towards them. Chase then started to fire his gun. Jak stumbled back abit and then held up his arms, shielding himself. His forearms acted as a shield. His skin became hard and impenetrable. He then began rushing towards them again. Chase, Justin, and Mannie successfully got into the room and blocked the door. Jak then rammed into the door but couldnt bust through. He kept ramming and ramming and ramming till he could get inside. Mannie and Justin were gathering big things to block the door. They then moved back against the wall with their guns out preparing themselves for Jak, when he bust through. All they can hear now is Jak yelling and banging.
This is the end other stories that was never told.
Jak continued on his lonely journey through town. He’d was slowly convinced that Justin, Chase, and Mannie were killed or they reached the safe point. He didn’t know where he was going but he kept going.
He stopped inside a small house. He searched for anything useful, or anything to eat. All he found was a can or beans. He cut the cap off and took a deep sigh ” this isn’t gonna go down too good… ” he then tipped his head back as he tipped the can over his mouth, slowly pouring the beans into his mouth. It had a nasty slimely feel to it but he kept eating it; he needed something in his system.
After resting up for abit he stepped outside. He heard some ruffling noise close by. Jak took his pistol out and kept his guard up. Jak peeked over the corner and he saw a hunter digging through the trash. He slowly moved back slowly away. His foot then hit a can which caused the hunter to look towards Jak. ” Fuck!!! ” Jak turned around and started running. The hunter then pounced up and landed on Jak, pinning him on his stomach. Before the hunter can even take one swipe at Jak, he was shot in the head. The hunter fell over, laying in its blood and brains.
Jak sat up and looked around. A few feet away, walking towards Jak, was the one and only Mannie. “…MANNIE!!! ” Jak stood up and ran towards her. He then place his hands on the side of her face and without any hesitation, he gave her one big kiss. He would then break the kiss and hugging her. She would return the hug. ” I am so glad you’re alive! ” She smiled as she started to shed a few tears. ” Im happy that you’re still alive.”
“Where are the others? ” Jak said. Mannie shook her head and slowly looked down. ” I dont know. we… got seperated… ” ” Are they ok? I mean… from the last time you saw them? ” She nodded her head ” Yea they are ok… I’m pretty sure they are doing well.” Jak nodded. He took her by her hand and smiled. ” C’mon…. lets go get some lunch… ” Mannie giggled abit, walking by Jak’s side. ” Where are we gonna find a place to get ” lunch “. ” Jak laughed abit ” we’ll find something…eventually… “
” What do you think we’ll find? “
” I dont know…. hopefully… a big turkey or something.. “
They both laughed as they walked together again on their journey of survival.
Jak has been walking for days; hungry, tired, and feeling more depressed each second of his life. All he could ever think of is the site of killing his own family, and leaving his team. Jak came across an abandoned house and rushed over there to rest alittle. He entered the hous with cautious just to make sure this house was safe enough for him to camp. He walked into the kitchen to find a bag of cans and bags of food on the counter. He rushed over and without even thinking, just opened up the cans and bags and started to eat. He ate as if he never eaten in ages.
He then heard foot steps from above. Jak stopped, pulled out his pistol and sword and slowly approached the bottom of the stairs that lead upstairs. He looked up and it was a dark hall. He can still hear foot steps. Jak took the risk and banged the wall with his sword to create a loud enough noise for what ever or who ever was upstairs to hear. The foot steps stopped. I paused for a second and then took one step on the bottom steps. The stairs then make a creaking noise.
” Hello? ” someone said. But it wasn’t just someone. I recognized that voice. ” Mike… is that you? ” There was a small pause.
” Jak ? “
” Yea….its me mike! “
Mike then came out into where Jak can see him. Mike then rushed down the stairs and brought his arms around Jak to give him a hug. ” Cat… come where.. It’s Jak! ” Catherine came poking out as well and rushed down to hug Jak. ” Oh my God! youre still alive! ” she said. ” Yea its good to see you guys too. ” I replied. ” What have you been doing? ” said Mike. ” I’ve been with…well was… my Team…”
” Your team? “
” Yea ” Jak gave a small smile and laugh. ” Had this team… was great… “
” Well What happened? “
” I…left…because we got into an argument. “
While Jak, Mike, and Catherine were talking and catching up, Justin, Mannie, and Chase were on foot again.
Chase - ” Where do you think Panda went off to? “
Mannie - ” Who knows… “
Justin - ” Well… where ever he is… he’s probably doing much better since he doesnt need us “
Chase - ” I dont think you know how Jak is guys.. “
Mannie - ” Trust me Chase… I know.. “
The group then heard a loud coughing noise from a distance. They froze in place with their guns ready looking high and low. ” Jockey ” Chase said hearing the jockey from another direction. Silence took over the horizon. The three standing back to back from each other. Jumping from above, a Jockey lands ontop of Chase’s shoulders and shield’s his eyes; pulling him away from the group. Mannie and Justin turns around to see the Jockey on Chase. The smoker pokes out from a truck and throws it’s tongue at Justin and wraps around his upper body and wrapping his arms to prevent him from shooting.
Mannie turns around and sees Justin was in trouble. Being stuck in pressure, a boomer pops out and barfs on Mannie. Mannie managed to kill the boomer. Chase also managed to kill the jockey by putting his pistol to the Jockey’s face and killing it. A horde of zombies smelled the boomer barf and started to rush the crew. Chase shot the smoker and killed it to release Justin. Justin and Chase then rushed over to Mannie to aid her with the zombies. They can feel something big coming towards them. After killing off the last of the horde, they heard a loud bang and a car flying right over their head and landing infront of the entrance to the safe house.
Justin - “…..TANK!!! “
They all turned around and the tank was a few feet away from them.
Mannie - ” Oh fuck! “
Justin - ” Yea kill it! “
They all took out their guns and started firing like crazy. The tank taking every hit, just kept running towards them. The tank took one good swing as he got closer and knocked Mannie off her feet, sending her flying 3 feet away from the group. The tank then looks at Justin and lifts it’s arm to bash Justin in, but Chase managed to jump on the tank’s back and stabbing it with his sword. The tank freaks out and starts to swing around. Chase tried to hang off, but the whip lashes knocked him off it’s back.
Chase get’s back up and pulls out his assault rifle out, but the tank already caught up and punched chased into a truck. Justin still shooting the tank with his sniper, the tank directs it’s attention towards justin and rushes him. Justin aims for the tank’s head and pulls the trigger, but nothing came out; he ran out of ammo. The tank stood infront of Justin and raised both its arms high, getting ready to finish what he tried to do earlier.
Close by Justin can hear the sound of a chain saw. The tank then drops its arms around and starts yelling in pain. The tank turns around and there Jak was; clinging on the tank’s back ramming the chainsaw into the back of the tank’s neck.
Jak - ” RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWRRR!!! DON’T FUCK WITH THE FUCKING PANDA!! “
Jak applied more pressure on the chainsaw and beheaded the tank. Jak hopped off of the tanks back and looked down at Justin. Chase and Mannie came back to the group and looked at Jak.
Justin - ” ….You…came back? “
Jak - ” Not quite….I forgot my backpack…Left all my bullets in my bag… “
Mannie came over and punched Jak in the jaw.
Mannie - ” Can you stop being a fucking dick all the time Jak! “
Jak looked at Mannie and smiled abit as he rubbed his jaw.
Jak - ” hey… I missed you too… and I didnt say I was leaving again… “
Chase came up to Jak and patted his shoulder.
Chase - ” Glad to have you back Panda.. I missed you..and I’m sure the others did too. “
Jak looked at Justin and Mannie and smiled abit.
Jak - ” Come on guys, You’re my team mates. I can never leave you guys. “
Jak threw his arms around Mannie and Justin giving them a hug. They all then formed a group hug.
Justin - ” Next time you want to be a jerk and leave us! let me kick your ass for a few first! “
Jak laughed abit and nodded
Jak - ” You sure only wanna kick my ass? “
Jak winked at Justin and laughed abit.
Night Time - Abandoned House ( Safe House )
Justin : Jak you need to stop fucking around! The world is ending and you don’t even take this seriously?
Jak : Take it seriously? haha Justin, I just fucking saved us all.
Justin : You nearly killed us back there!
Jak : Are you dead Justin? No… So stop complaining.
Justin : Jak… Seriously what the fuck is your problem
Jak : What’s my problem Justin? I fucking killed my family… The World is ending… I’m with my ” Dream Team ” and have to see her face everyday.
Mannie : Jak… stop it..
Jak : Me stop? You want me to fucking stop?!!
Justin Pushes Jak back. He stumbles back and looks at Justin.
Jak : haha look at you? Acting like a leader just like you always thought you were. We only listen to you so your bitch ass would shut up if things don’t go your way! Hey I should had listened to you before so we wouldn’t be arguing right now. You would be in dream world right now while ME AND CHASE ARE UP WATCHING OVER YOU TWO!
Mannie : I think you need a break Jak..
Jak : A break? haha when did I hear this line before?
Mannie : Seriously Jak… this isn’t the time.
Jak : its never the time Mannie.. NEVER!! The world is fucking ending and its still never the time. When I fucking die, thats when its the time right? for me to fucking rot and it will be the time.
Justin : Jak.. you seriously need to go and be by your self right now… we can’t deal with this.
Jak : Ok BOSS! I will go be by myself.
Jak opens up the door, and walks outside. Justin and Mannie stands by the door frame.
Mannie : Jak.. where are you going.
Jak : Why do you fucking care?
Justin : Ok… you’re blowing this out of proportion. I didn’t mean leave.
Jak : No.. I need to go be by myself right? thats what I’m doing. You guys dont need me so Im going to fucking leave. What am I doing in this team anyways? I’m not really doing anything but fucking shit up and slowing us down.
Jak turns away from them and continues walking. Chase runs up to Jak and stops him.
Chase : Panda… Dont do this man… I know its hard but. We need you
Jak : No Chase.. You guys dont… really. Just let me be, you stay with them. Plus, I cant deal with…
Chase : I know Panda… Sometimes you just have to let it go.
Jak : haha… yea. let go. - Pats Chase’s Shoulder - I’m letting go.
Jak turns away once again and walks off. Chase returns back into the safe house and they closed the door.
